FREE EVENT 18th August Medieval Fayre
in Stow Square to celebrate the 900th
Anniversary of the first Royal Charter given to "STOW 2020" - the local group working on issues
specific to Stow as a Market Town. · Market Towns Forum - the county-wide
group working on issues relating to Market Towns including ours, that has
good contact with the Countryside Agency and South West Regional Development
Agency, as well as the Gloucestershire Rural Community Council. · Allotments area the new central access
road has increased the take up of plots. Co-operation between plot
holders & Council is producing continuing improvements to watering,
ground clearance & general use. · The Wells - refurbished summer 2001. Regular annual ongoing maintenance - including annual cleaning out. Occasional vandalism blocking drains is repaired regularly. · Grass Cutting - the council now cut all
public grassed areas including the roadside verges within · Horse Fair - Council group working with
other bodies (CDC, GCC, police, Gypsy community) to seek improvements. · Car Parking and Traffic Management within
